William B. Burke
Bill Burke was the co-founder of Burke Real Estate Group, a firm that offers a wide array of services including development, asset management, acquisition, sale and leasing of office and industrial properties. Since 1982, he concentrated on developing a portfolio of commercial real estate oriented to middle-market business users.
Bill began his career as vice president of Security Pacific Bank in Los Angeles. In 1965, he entered the commercial real estate market by opening a brokerage office in the city of Orange. In 1968, he co-founded Ashwill-Burke & Company, a 2-man brokerage firm that grew into a 15-office firm statewide. Fourteen years later, the co-founders split their holdings and Bill launched the company that became Burke Real Estate Group.
Bill obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from Stanford University.
Brian R. Burke
In 1982, Brian co-founded Burke Commercial Development with his father, Bill Burke, and serves as the company’s president and managing partner. He brings valuable experience analyzing investments and developing properties to Burke Real Estate Group, gleaned from previous experience as assistant to the executive vice president in charge of the Investment Division of Ashwill-Burke & Company. Over the years, he has been responsible for developing more than 4 million square feet of commercial property encompassing over 350 buildings valued at $300 million.
Brian earned a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Southern California School of Business.

Mike is involved with all aspects of the development and acquisition process, including site selection, due diligence and financing. He plays a lead role in entitlement process management, project design and construction, marketing, sales, leasing and project cost management. Since joining Burke in 2005, he has overseen over 500,000 square feet of industrial and office development in Orange and San Diego counties.
Mike brings 10 years of real estate development, brokerage, construuction and finance experience to the Burke team. Previously, he worked in the debt and structured finance division of Buchanan Street Partners, a West Coast-based real estate investment bank where he served developers and investors in underwriting and placing nearly $500 million in debt and $50 million in equity transactions.
A graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara , Mike is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a licensed real estate salesperson and an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
Tyler H. Parks
|Vice President - Development|
Tyler is involved in all aspects of the development cycle, including site selection, acquisitions and due diligence. He plays a lead role in management of the entitlement process, project design, construction, marketing, sales and leasing. Since joining Burke in 2004, he has overseen 842,000 square feet of industrial and flex-tech development in Orange County valued in excess of $130 million.
Tyler has 18 years of real estate development, brokerage, and property and asset management experience. Prior to joining Burke, he worked in the brokerage division of Coreland Companies, where he represented landlords and tenants in commercial lease and sales transactions. He has held leasing and management positions at Koll Company, Lincoln Property Company, and Dolphin Partners, Inc.
Tyler graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. degree in public administration and planning with an emphasis in urban and regional planning.
Paul is principally responsible for overseeing financial reporting and compliance for Burke and its operating entities. He assists with financial planning and tax strategies, maintains relationships with financial institutions, and supervises day-to-day accounting operations. Prior to joining Burke, Paul was a senior manager in the federal tax practice at KPMG, serving a broad range of real estate clients in all major real estate sectors. Paul is a licensed CPA in the state of California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Paul earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Chapman University.
Kenneth A. Wheeler

As the most recent addition to the Burke team, Ken oversees a 4.5 million-square-foot portfolio of industrial, office, retail and medical office properties in California and Texas. He has over 26 years of experience in real estate management and landlord representation and has overseen more than 300 construction and development projects valued at more than $300 million.
Ken earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and past president of the Austin, TX chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He has been named Realtor of the Year by the Wyoming Association of Realtors and has been a board member of the National Association of Realtors. He is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP) and Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA).
